Christopher Phoenix James plays music filled with passion, energy and hope steeped in the Blues tradition. James is a musician, teacher, and composer. Since leaving college to study the blues firsthand in Clarksdale, Mississippi Chris’ musical journey has taken him all over the U.S. performing solo and leading his band as well as performing with Guy Davis, Professor Louie, and Kate Campbell.
